Share Your Talents

English: Helping the homeless

Helping Those in Need

One of the hardest things that anyone can do is to allow their talents to shine and for them to allow others to benefit from their abilities. There is nothing wrong with sharing what you have to offer; especially when it can actually help those in need. It is not boasting or bragging to let people know what you have to offer.

In this day and age, the world could use a lot of positive expressions from those who can provide the laughter, smiles, compassion, humility, and a genuinely caring attitude when needed the most. It is amazing to witness just how powerful any of these expressions can change someone’s world almost instantly simply by being kind.

Love, live, and offer a small amount of time to make someone’s life better by sharing what you have that they do not for the moment. I have experienced so many times in my personal and professional life tremendous acts of kindness. Never be afraid to offer your talents because of what others think. If someone is in need, what others think that takes away from the opportunity should mean absolutely nothing. Doing what is right is not always popular, but it is right; that is all that matters…isn’t it? You decide!

Thought of the Day:

Teach what you know and advance your potential.

Gratitude is an attitude worth keeping.

Opposition is not just a fact of life; it is necessary and an ally to building strong character traits.

Influence is voluntarily received with the recipient ultimately responsible for the decision to accept or reject it.

Humor of the Day:

Men don’t ask for directions because they are not interested in reaching their destination.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then an angry look from a wife speaks at least three chapters.
